It may be the baby of the Windows Phone brigade but the budget-friendly Nokia Lumia 710 impressed us when we got our hands on it, so it is great to hear that the colourful handset could be landing in the UK as early as 6 January.
This is according to Digital-phone.co.uk, a UK phone retailer which has the 710 as 'coming soon' on its site and a lovely red notice explaining that it will start stocking the first week in January.

Given that this isn't one of the networks announcing the phone, this date has to be taken with a liberal pinch of salt so we will be waiting for an official release date before we get too excited.
The Nokia Lumia 710 has been built with the budget conscious in mind. Looks-wise, it smacks of cheap and cheerful and has a number of interchangeable phone fascias in a variety of colours ? including blue, pink, yellow and, that colour that is not really a colour, black.
Screen-wise the phone has a 3.7-inch display, it's got Mango 7.5 inside and there's a 5MP camera on board.
It may not be coming for Christmas, but if you have a little money to spare after the festive season and love a bit of fascia swapping then the Nokia Lumia 710.
